About Us

September 14, 2008 was the day my life changed forever. On this day, my father died from AIDS at 43 years old. He was one of the 2 million that died from AIDS in 2008. My dad could not live with the shame from this disease. He chose death because the stigma was too much.

AIDS does not only tear down your body. It can tear down your mind and self-esteem. This site is dedicated to those living with the virus and stigma. We hope to encourage them to chose life.  We are also here to raise awareness about all the effects of HIV/AIDS. It's time for us to Save OurSelves and help our brothers and sisters living with HIV/AIDS. On this site, you will find news, commentary and various resources about HIV/AIDS. By being educated and getting involved we can beat this disease. Be Safe and Be Healthy.
